James E. Cochran, 67, of Hendersonville, N.C., died suddenly Thursday, April 28, 2011, at his North Carolina home. He was born in Wilkinsburg and resided in Monroeville before relocating to North Carolina. He was employed by Allegheny Intermediate Unit and then owned and operated Steamers Espresso Caf in Oakmont for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Heidi Maurer; a son, Robert Maurer and his wife, Janine; a sister, Joanne Weir; many loving nieces and nephews as well great-nieces and -nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at noon Saturday at Thos. Shepherd s Church Street Chapel in Hendersonville with the Rev. Robert Estochen officiating. THOS.
