We never thought of losing you,
Maybe that was wrong.
You always seemed a part of us,
That would go on and on.
We did not know that morning,
What sorrow that day would bring,
When a special heart stopped beating,
And we could not do a thing.
No last farewells were spoken,
Your last thoughts were unknown,
But you left us precious memories,
That we are proud to own.
