Suddenly, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, within Wishaw General Hospital, Alexander (Sandy) McEwan, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Isabelle, devoted dad to Louise and Sandy, grandpa, neighbour and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Sandy's funeral will take place on Friday, June 20, 1.15 pm, at Greyfriars Church, Lanark, followed by committal at 2 pm, in Springbank Cemetery. Those able are then welcome to Lanark Golf Club for refreshments. The family send thanks for the love and support shown at this sad time.
