Dorothy JACKLIN

JACKLIN Dorothy (née Finnigan) Dorothy Jacklin, formerly a teacher at Walton (Girls) and KGGS, passed away at Harrowby Lodge Nursing Home on 30th November 2025, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was a dedicated member of Harrowby Lane Methodist Church for nearly 60 years and also served as a circuit steward in the Grantham & Belvoir Methodist Circuit. She was mother to David, Michael, and Paul; grandmother to Rebecca, Anna, Adam, and Melissa; and great-grandmother to Joshua, Lyra, and Fenna. A service of thanksgiving for Dorothy's life will be held at Harrowby Lane Methodist Church, Grantham, on Tuesday 30th December 2025 at 3.30pm, followed by a reception. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend. Donations to Christian Aid.
