Frederick LEADBETTER Obituary
LEADBETTER Frederick William (Fred) Passed away peacefully at QMC Hospital Nottingham on 17th April 2025 aged 81 surrounded by his family. Fred will be so very much missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to be held at Grantham Crematorium on Thursday 29th May 2025 at 10.30am. Family Flowers only please. Donations to Maire Curie and The Dogs Trust can be forwarded to Robert Holland Funeral Directors, 14 St Catherine's Road, Grantham NG31 6TS.

I knew Fred when I worked with him in the tool room at Aveling and Barford. I was in touch with him occasionally over the following years. He later became a good local historian and had a great collection of postcards.
And wrote and published books on old Grantham. I am sorry to learn his passing.
