It is with great sadness that
the family of Barbara Thompson announce her peaceful passing at home on 22nd February 2026,
aged 86 years. Barbara was a
much-loved mum to Yvonne and Andrew, and Chris, mum in law to Mark, Carol and Sam, Grandma to Liam, Lois, Joe, Oran, Alfie & Lexie. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and the love she shared so generously with her family and friends. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at Heywood URC, Northowram on Monday 23rd March 2026 at 1:00pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, are for Macmillan and Children's Heart Surgery at L.G.I. All enquiries to Lawrence Funeral Service Tel: 01422 354094.
