Clem passed away peacefully on the 29th of August at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, aged 81.
A much loved husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle.
Funeral and burial service will be held on Friday 19th September at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Shelf at 2pm. Family flowers only please.

Clem was a dedicated member and leader of St Michael's Shelf with St Aidan Buttershaw for over 50 years. His unwavering commitment was evident in the many roles he fulfilled, including Treasurer, Church Warden, PCC Secretary, PCC Vice Chair, Chair, and Safeguarding Officer. Clem's integrity and hard work set a standard for all of us. I had the privilege of meeting him in October 2022, just before I began my journey here as the parish priest in January 2023. He assisted me greatly in my role. His legacy will live on in our Church and community, and he will be deeply missed.

I worked with Clem at Lee Mount school when I was a new deputy head .A lovely man, so caring who helped me a lot , with a dry sense of humour .Judith
