David Thompson
of Skircoat Green.
Suddenly, but peacefully passed away at Calderdale Royal Hospital, David Lord, aged 82.
Dearly loved husband of Margaret and the late Lesley, proud father of Ben and Chris and their families.
He was a highly respected doctor and a friend to many.
The funeral will take place on
Saturday, December 20th at 11.00am at St Jude's Church, Halifax.
Family flowers only. Donations,
if desired, to Cancer UK or to
Overgate Hospice.

So sad to hear the passing of Dr David he was a dear friend and above all a kind man ....he will be missed by many may he rest in internal peace God Bless

Dr Lord was our family doctor. I can remember ringing the doctors at 1.30 pm on Christmas day as my Daughter who was only about 3 at the time was ill. He arrived at our house in Siddal about an hour later with a friendly smiley face. Treated her and went on his way to have his own Christmas dinner. No complaints about coming out to us. A first class Doctor and a lovely person. RIP x
