The family of David Pennington is saddened to announce his passing on 13 January 2026, aged 79. David passed away peacefully and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate David's life will be held on 16 February at 9:45am at Park Wood Crematorium, where family and friends are warmly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Research UK. All enquiries may be directed to Lawrence Funeral Service on

Sad to hear this. I was just starting out in Sunday football in 1984 when Dave joined us. He was 38 by then but had all the head knowledge. Glad to have been in the same team. Sending condolences to all the family.
