It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gordon, after a brave battle with a terrible illness, on New Year's Eve 2025, aged 91.
Reunited with his loving wife Jean Mary. Much loved dad of Karl and Craig, beloved grandad and all round old school gent,
he will be missed forever by all who knew him.
Funeral will be at
Park Wood Crematorium on Friday 6th February at 3:00pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu,
to the Alzheimer's Society.

Jean and Gordon were wonderful Wardens at Mytholm Court, mid 1970s/1980s. I will be forever grateful to them both for the care they gave my Mum and Dad, Ruby and Kenneth Savage. RIP Gordon - a life well-lived x

We remember Gordon & Jean so well and their legendary fish & chip suppers at their home in Mytholmroyd. Jean the perfect hostess making sure we were all comfortable and well fed. Gordon cooking the fish, chips and black peas to perfection. When he wasn't cooking he made sure glasses were topped up and entertained us all with jokes and comical yarns! A wonderful hospitable couple who will always be remembered with respect and love for their generosity and kindness. Happy memories of them both and their association with Luddenden Foot cricket club. R.l.P
