So many years now have passed, but I still remember Ken and Barbara so fondly from days at St Peter's College Saltley. I can still hear their voices in my head, and Barbara discussing history; her work on the 1926 General Strike. Times pass, memories hold.

The Best of Men
I knew Ken (and his wife Barbara) for just three years as a trainee teacher at St Peter's College, Saltley. Ken was a mature student and he was like a kindly uncle to all us much younger fellow students. He was a wise, reassuring presence and great fun to be with. My most sincere and very belated condolences go to his family and friends. He was an inspiration and a wonderful ray of light in a sometimes grey world.
