Peacefully on Sunday,
8th February 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family,
a perfect husband of Nora, inspirational dad of Sally, Louise and Ryan, a dear father in law of Jamie, Neil and Laura, loving Dandad of Scarlett, Freya, Holly, Lily, Harrison and Hugo, a dear brother, brother in law, uncle and friend to so many.
Service will be held at the
Halifax Minster on Monday
9th March 2026 at 11.00am.
Family flowers only please by request but donations in lieu can be made on the day for Overgate Hospice and the Halifax Minster.
All enquiries to the Halifax Chapel of Repose, 25 Clare Road.

Rest in peace Peter a good friend- drinking buddy and the most kindest man ever . I remember helping him move into his first insurance office many years ago and his family kindness shown to my family when things were tough goodbye old friend x

Pete was a year above me at Heath G S but we finished up in the same A level classes, doing French and German, under Archie Littlefair. He used to give me a lift home at lunchtime on his scooter. Then, later, I'd get my motor and home insurance off him or bump into him with his family in pubs. Last saw him when he called at our house on his ebike around 2022. I'll miss seeing him in his big field of a garden up at Ogden. In fact I'll miss seeing him, his good humour, his friendliness and his smile. As will many, I'm sure. Oh, and a fearless rugby player.
