peacefully at Ripon Community Hospital, aged 87 years,
David McAndrew of Ripon,
beloved husband of the late Anne, dearly loved dad, granddad
and poet.
Requiem Mass will take place at
St. Wilfrid's RC Church, Ripon on Friday March 8th at 12.45pm followed by interment.
Flowers are welcome, or if desired, donations in memory for
Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Plate provided at the service.

David was my much revered English tutor at James Graham College of Education 1964-1968. We frequently exchanged poems and philosophical words. He was such a lovely man. I've been reading an essay of mine from back then which he graded 'VG' and thought to Google him. I much regret that I missed him by three months. I'm attaching a photo of how I remember him. I'd love a copy of a book of his poems.

Condolences to David's family. We was my Eng Lit tutor from 1970 to 1974. Always kind and encouraging. When I had my first teaching post he was concerned about my pension- Id never given it a thought. He advised me to check it. I did, and now retired, Im very grateful it's all correct. Happy memories.
