Of Saturn Way, passed away peacefully at Watford General Hospital on
Friday, 12th September 2025,
aged 90 years.
Much-loved wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother.
Doris wished for her funeral to be a celebration of life and had asked mourners to wear bright colours.
Funeral service to take place at
St Paul's Church (Highfield) on
Friday, 3rd October at 11:30 AM.
Family flowers only.

Every year baba and I would always hang out, go to the strand and have a cheeky ice cream. The final few days before her passing, we had a lovely chat and I will forever cherish that. She was the greatest grandma to ever lived. She loved her great grand children (Eve and Lily) as every time we spoke, we spoke about the memoires we had with them. I remember my mum telling me that she all the girls photos, pictures hanging around the house. I have so many photos of just me and her (Meredith) of us in coffee club, the strand, bushland beach. I remember she used to love the beaches, at the time I didn't but eventually I grew to love them as much as she did. I always remember the laughs we had when we were on the phone about the cheeky little things (my mum will know what I mean)
When my mum went to the UK before baba passed away, I remember that my mum was telling me about how they went to the zoo, about how they had the time of their life just going around town. I know that baba would of loved that because I know that when she was here in Australia, she could never sit still.
I'm so glad I got to say how much I loved her before she passed and I really hope she knew that too. I really hoped she got to knew how much she was loved from everyone in our family. I remember the amount of times she mentioned some random persons life story to us because she always went out the way to get to know someone because that is how she was, she was the most friendlies person to walk this earth.
