Catherine "Kay" Fozard

Fozard. Catherine "Kay". December 15th, 1944 - July 13th, 2024. Peacefully at Noble's Hospital surrounded by family, Kay passed away after a long illness at the age of 79. Cherished Wife of Brian for 57 years and mother of Damian and Julie, beloved Nana to Isaac and Lily; wonderful mother-in-law to Miranda. Born in Buncrana, Co. Donegal, Ireland one of nine children of Tommy and Kathleen Lawrence. Much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt because of her kind heart, ceaseless support and determination to make the life of those around her better. Kay moved to the Isle of Man aged 18 to work in a hotel, met and fell in love with Brian and became part of the Fozard family. We would like to thank the staff of the Elderly and Mental Health care teams, Noble's and Ramsey Cottage hospitals for their outstanding care and dedication in looking after Kay. A service to celebrate Kay's life, at which you are encouraged to wear bright colours, will be held at Douglas Crematorium, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas, on Thursday 25th July 2024 at 10.45am. Flowers welcome or donations to in lieu, if so desired ,may be sent to Isle of Man Alzheimer's Society or Forget Me Not (Isle of Man).
