Crena Tullos Genius

GENIUS, CRENA TULLOS Crena Tullos Genius of Baton Rouge, age 87, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at her home in Baton Rouge. The daughter of Oliver Luther Tullos and Louise Faust Tullos, she was born at Willow Glyn Plantation near Alexandria on Sept. 29, 1916. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government St., on Sunday, April 25, 2004, from 5 p.m. until religious service at 7 p.m. Graveside service in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Pineville, at 3 p.m. Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Winston Genius; and a granddaughter, Colleen Nikki Genius. Mrs. Genius was a retired businesswoman and a member of the board of directors of Louisiana Office Supply Co. of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Tullos DeVinna; her daughter and son, Brenda Louise Genius and James Dale Genius and wife Claris Estes Genius; three grandchildren, Stephen Cullen Saucier, Stacy Saucier Beardslee and James Branchard Genius; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Elizabeth Saucier, Crena Rivers Saucier, Callie Elizabeth Beardslee, William Rakestraw Beardslee IV, James Henry Genius, Brittany Mercedes Genius, Sandra Ellen Nicole Bergeron and Jacob Alan Bergeron.
