CLEATOR. Eric Stainton. Jill and Anthony, Joan and Lee and families, the family of the late Jackie and Charlie, and Eric's widow, Mary and family wish to thank all those who sent condolences and kind messages on the passing of Eric, a deeply-loved Dad, 'Pom-pom', Grandad, Great grandad and great, great Grandad. Many thanks, too for all those who came to pay their respects at his funeral and to Paul Davenport, Funeral Celebrant, who conducted the service so empathetically. Thanks also for kind donations to IOM Alzheimer's Society. Sincere thanks to Simon and Alan of David Lancaster for their kindness and sensitivity in supporting us once again so soon after our sad loss of Audrey. Once more, thank you to Elaine for a beautiful floral tribute and many thanks to Talk of the Town, Douglas. Finally, a huge thank you to all the staff at Castle View who looked after Eric so well for five years and whose affection for him was so apparent by the fact that as many as possible of those unable to attend the funeral lined up outside the Nursing Home to wave a final farewell as his cortege drove past.
