GREAVES Elizabeth Obituary
GREAVES. On Friday, May 11, 2012 peacefully at Nobles Hospital, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" (Senior Sister Intensive Care) of Birch Hill Close, Onchan. Beloved wife of Alan, much loved mother of David, Andrew and Ean, mother-in-law of Jennifer, dearly loved grandma of Caleb and a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt, she will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. A service of Celebration for Liz's life will be held at The Living Hope Community Church, Port St Mary, at 2.00pm on Tuesday, May 15. (Black ties optional). Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired should be sent to Hospice Isle of Man McMillan Nurses, C\o Hospice Isle of Man, Strang, Douglas. I met Liz last October when my Dad found himself in ICU. It was a harrowing time for me and mine, but Liz was so very warm, compassionate and truely lovely to us. She was a wonderful nurse and I'm sure you have had many similar comments. She spoke so lovingly about the time she spent with her grandson. A very special lady who missed. "For those you love don't go away, they walk beside you everyday."
