Joe MADDRELL Obituary
MADDRELL. Suddenly but peacefully at his home in Port Erin, Joe beloved husband of the late Helen (Nee Makenzie), much loved son of the late Hugh and Teresa and a dearly loved brother of Edward, Avril, Helen, David and Orry. He will be much missed by all his family, friends, clients and all those who knew him through his book stalls and hockey career. Funeral service and cremation will take place at Douglas Crematorium at 1.15pm on Wednesday 9th April 2025. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired should be sent to the Manx Wildlife Trust, 7-8 Market Place, Peel, IM5 1AB or Port St Mary RNLI, C/o Mr K Leigh, Willow Cottage, Willow Terrace, Shore Road, Port St Mary. Very sad to hear of Joe's passing. He was a much respected hockey goalkeeper and friend, who always put other people before himself. My thoughts are with his family.
