John Lawrence Kneale

John Kneale Obituary

Kneale.  Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, John Lawrence aged 97 years of Glen Maye and formerly of Laxey. Beloved dad of Greg and Carole, dear father-in-law to Huw, a much loved Grandad, Great Grandad, Dear Stepdad and Step Grandad. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at 2.45pm on Thursday 7th August at Douglas Borough Crematorium. Family Flowers only please, Donations in lieu if so desired can be made to Hospice I.O.M at the Strang, Braddan. All enquiries Please to Kissack's Funeral Director's, Crosby Tel. 480795.

Knew John when he delivered flour to our bake house in Onchan he was a character used to go to his house in Laxey at Xmas time he had a Holly bush in his garden he gave us Holly my dad gave him some Bunloaf in exchange for it years later when I had my mum out in the car if we were in the Glen Maye area we would we would call in to see if John was in his garden and have a chat God bless you John
