VANDERPLANK.  On Friday 28th August 2025, peacefully at Springfield Grange Nursing Home in Douglas. John Alexander, MRCVS, aged 88 years, formerly of Ballacregga Farm in Braddan. Loving husband of the late Val. He will be greatly missed by his children, Richard and Tracy, daughter in law Louise, son in law Mike, grandchildren Alex, Christian and Sam, friends and extended family. The funeral service will take place at 11.30am on Friday 5th September 2025 at Douglas Borough Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired may be made to the ManxSPCA or the Isle of Man Samaritans. All enquiries please to A.
