Kathleen Smith Obituary
On Wednesday 25th February 2026, Kathy passed peacefully at Hospice Isle of Man surrounded by her loved ones. Kathy was a beloved Sister, Mother, Granny, Mother-in-Law and friend. 'Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day'. The funeral service will take place at St Mary's Church, Douglas at 14:00 on Friday 13th March 2026, followed by a private cremation. The wake will be held after the service at Encore in The Sefton. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, should be sent to Air Ambulance Service Isle of Man or Hospice Isle of Man.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. When I moved to Isle of Man Newspapers from 'across', she was always a friendly and supportive presence who helped me to settle in and feel at home. I'm sure she will always be fondly remembered by those who had the privilege to know and work with her.

Such sad news, Kathy was a truly wonderful person and was really supportive to me during a difficult moment in my life when we worked together at the Isle of Man newspapers, I will always appreciate her kindness during this time, deepest sympathy to her family

I am so sad to read this - Kathy was amazing - I worked with her at IOM Newspapers where she was always a constant source of help and fun! Deepest condolences to her family and close friends - she will be deeply missed.
