Lynda Watterson Obituary

WATTERSON. Lynda Marie (née SYKES) of Douglas, aged 71 years. Peacefully, on Wednesday 4 February 2026 at Hospice Isle of Man, with her 'boys' by her side. Adored wife of Phil, much-loved mum of David and Benj, treasured mother-in-law of Elena and Julia and cherished grandma of Matthew, Daniel and Eva. Precious daughter of the late Lawrence (Lawrie) and Marie, beloved sister of Andrew, sister-in-law of Dorothy, and devoted step-daughter of the late Irene. A wonderful auntie and great-auntie. A friend to many. A service to celebrate Lynda's life will take place at Trinity Methodist Church, Douglas on Thursday 19 February 2026 at 1:45 pm followed by private cremation. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu may be made to Hospice Isle of Man. Enquiries to Kingswood Funeral Home, Kingswood Grove, Douglas. Tel: 661611.

So very sorry to read the passing of Lynda, I knew Lynda from the high school back in the day. Lynda had a smile that would light up a room where ever she went. Lynda was a very talented singer also. Condolences to Phil and family. RIP and go sing with the Angels.
