Hi Steve,

The holiday season is here and I have happy thoughts of you and the fun I had Christmas, 2000 in Atlanta with you and Laura. It was our bonding holdiay vacation. You are always in my heart. My memories of you are warm and wonderful. Today I am very grateful to God for blessing our lives with you. You were a wonderful gift. By the way, you turned Laura into a sewing fool with that machine you gave her! But you know that don't you.

Merry Christmas. Love ya!

Barbara,

I read your entry to your son-in-law and noticed you live in Orlando. I lost 5 friends 9/11 and am still grieving (I live in N.Y.)

My siblings relocated to Orlando some time ago and felt isolated there 9/11 because they felt that no one understood their grief (my brother lost several former Cantor Fitzgerald colleagues having worked in Wall St. for several years.)

However, you were close by feeling the same grief.

I wish you and your daughter the best and am sorry about your "son."

Hi Steve,

I just can't let this year end without saying how much I miss you.

Steve Morris from Ormond Beach, Florida says little about you. You were the first born of Phil & Judy Morris, Katie and Andy's older brother, my daughter's future husband, and my future son-in-law. You were full of wisdom and maturity,a giving and loving, kind and gentle man with a quiet British sense of humor. You manage to meld English and American qualities into one fine human being. You were a mentor to those you worked with and a friend to all. Laura had a bench put up in your memory. It's in the little park facing the intercoastal waterway where you can sit and watch the dolphins swim by. You would like thatI know. The inscription says all that we feel.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
