Frances Melvin Baird

BAIRD - FRANCES MELVIN. On 23rd October 2008, at the Lorn and Islands District General Hospital, Oban, peacefully and after a brave struggle, Frances Melvin Baird, of Lochawe, beloved and devoted wife of the late Kenneth Alexander Baird. Frances was the daughter of Ian and the late Jean Gould, of Edinburgh, stepmother of Stephen and sister of Ian Melvin and Gill Docherty. Dearly loved by all her family, she earned deep and valued friendships wherever she went, from Switzerland to the Lochawe she loved. Funeral will take place at St Conan's Kirk, Lochawe, on Tuesday, 28th October, at 1pm. Thereafter to Glenorchy Cemetery, Dalmally. Family flowers only please, retiring collection/donations if desired to Macmillan Nurses.
