McDONALD - THOMAS (TONY MASON). Peacefully, at the Western Infirmary, on 12th May, 2009, Tommy, beloved husband of Grace, much loved father of Gary, Carol and Stephen, loving granda of Josh, Beth, Emma and Ryan and a special uncle of Leslie and Jude. Fortified by rites of Holy Church, R.I.P. Reception and vigil at St Stephen's Church, Dalmuir, on Monday, 18th May, at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 19th May, at 10am and thereafter to Clydebank Crematorium, North Dalnottar.

Tommy McDonald's Eulogy - Tuesday 19th May 2009 "Good morning I am Tommy's youngest son and on behalf of all the family, I would like to say a few words about our Dad. My dad Tommy led a very colourful and interesting life, he met lots of wonderful and famous people along the way. He would often relate many a story of his experiences and was proud to tell you of them, over and over again!. He could be very stubborn and set in his ways at times, but he was also a very emotional and a passionate man and was never afraid to show his feelings (good or bad!) He was a very loving husband/dad/grandad/ uncle and enjoyed his family, and was immensely proud of all of our achievements! His love of music, singing, and acting was a big part of his life, and as a life long member of "Equity" and "The Musician Union", he enjoyed his contribution to the entertainment world and had only just recently recorded and produced his own CD, "Just A Little Extra!" To sum Tommy up, we think the lyrics of the Frank Sinatra song "My Way" was a true reflection of Tommy's life! `He lived a life that was full He travelled each and every highway And more, much more than that Yes!
