Who died peacefully in
Royal Preston Hospital on
Sunday 28th December 2025, aged 79 years.
Dearly loved by Steve, loving mum of Nikki, beloved sister of John, dear mother in law of Tom, much loved grandma of Lucy and Daniel, a dear cousin, sister in law, aunty and a very good friend to many.
The funeral service will take place at Our Lady & St Michael's Church, Alston Lane on
Monday 12th January 2026 at 10:00am, prior to committal at Preston Crematorium.
All are welcome to join the family for the service at Alston Lane, the crematorium and for refreshments at the Derby Arms.
Mourning dress is not necessary as Barbara loved clothing of any colour.
Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired can be made to C.A.F.O.D or The British Red Cross. Donations can be made and gift aided via this link -
