PHOENIX - On April 9, 2010 peacefully in Cuerden Grange Nursing Home BRYAN OAKES aged 76 years. Bryan was the beloved husband of Jean, dearly loved dad of Robin, Julie and Michelle, father-in-law of Wendy, David and David and the much loved grandad of Samantha, Hannah, Christopher and Patrick. God saw you getting weary,
And did what He thought best,
He put His arms around you,
And whispered "Come to rest." Bryan's funeral service will be held at St Aidan's CE Church, Bamber Bridge on Monday, April 19 at 1.15pm followed by committal at Charnock Richard Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in leiu if so desired to St Aidan's CE Church c/o the family.
