GRIFFITHS - On August 22, 2009, peacefully in Royal Preston Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne, FRED aged 87 years. Beloved husband of the late May, loving dad of Yvanna and her fiancé Bernard, father-in-law of Kevin (deceased), much loved grandad of Ryan, brother of Owen (deceased), Hughie and Arthur.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK and Motor Neurone Disease Society c/o the funeral director. Requiem Mass will be held at St. Mary's RC Church, Chorley on Wednesday, September 2 at 12noon prior to interment at Chorley Cemetery.
