Grandad, words cannot describe what a beautiful person you were inside out nor can they describe how much I love you. You made me who I am today and made me embrace my interests unapologetically. I will forever remember without a fail when I saw you how we would sit together and listen to music and talk about why we loved these songs, that´s something I will miss the most. I love you so much you will always be in my heart.

So sorry to hear about Doug. Met him first when I was 16. A very good man who will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Growing up I used to think it was strange we only had one uncle !
Truth is, we only needed one and we got the best .

We were very lucky and fortunate to have you as our only Uncle, Wor Uncle Doug .

Thank you for all your love, care , sense of humour and the surprise on yours and Aunty Jeans face when I would just turn up on your doorstep from Newcastle...

Thank you for everything Uncle Doug , I bet Grandma hasn´t let you get a word in , my God she could chatter..

Sleep tight Uncle Doug , you will always be in our hearts..

Until We Meet Again

All our love

My lovely grandad. Thank you for always listening to what I had to say, thank you for always recording Indiana jones for me and letting me take over your computer searching for crazy animal videos and never making me feel daft. Thank you for the caravan trips and park visits. Thank you for being kind, loving and funny. I love you so very much, can´t quite believe I will never see you or hear your voice again. Good night Grandad x
