Aged 73 years.
On 17th February 2026 peacefully at her home in Fulwood with her family by her side.
Loving wife of Hugh and devoted mother of Ashley and Ellie. Supportive sister to
David and Elaine.
Together with the Lord.
Private Cremation at
Preston Crematorium prior to a Celebration of Margaret's life which will take place at
Fulwood Free Methodist Church,
Friday 13th March 2026 at 12.30pm.
Donations in lieu of flowers to Fulwood Free Methodist Church or Rosemere Cancer Foundation c/o the funeral director. G.C.Whalley and Daughter, Churchside Funeral Home, Longton. Tel: 612900 or 612848.

So sorry to hear of Margaret's passing. She was a big part of my childhood. I used to walk to School with Margaret and went to Gutteridge Methodist Church with her. She was my bridesmaid when I married Graham in 1971. Although we have not met for several years as I moved away from Preston, we have kept in touch. My love and prayers go out to her family and friends.
