Who died peacefully after a short illness, at home on Tuesday
18th March, aged 83 years.
Dearly loved husband of Judith, loving father of John, Elizabeth, Paul and Phillipa and a dear father-in-law, grandad
and brother.
The Funeral Mass and interment will take place at St. Mary's RC Church, Chipping on Thursday 10th April at 11.00am.
Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to the 'Salvation Army'.

I was very sorry to hear of Peter´s illness and then his passing. Although I have not seen much of Peter over the past 70 years he was always in my thoughts and I enjoyed the phone chats we had over the years. I am very appreciative of the kindness that Judith and he showed towards me and more recently to my partner and me whenever we were in England. We stayed with Peter and Judith and were treated royally.
Peter and I were best friends about 70 years ago, when we were in our teens. We both had old motorbikes, and we would spend many hours fixing them and going for rides around Blackburn. We even ventured as far as Blackpool on one occasion, which was risky considering the age of our motorbikes! Because I moved to Canada in 1962, our visits were much less frequent, but we never lost touch. I will always remember Peter as a very nice and kind man, who was always interested in what I had been doing and discussing the current politics. I will think of him and Judith often.
