I will remember him as a good Osteopathic teacher
Only found out recently about Jonathan's passing. He was a good teacher, young and dynamic and I was truly inspired by his integrated approaches to solving health issues. Best to all..

The Man Who Gave Me The Courage To Walk
I met Johnathon when I was twenty eight years old. A nameless doctor had told me I would never work or have a so called normal life. Johnathon did his most for me, even writing a letter to the L and D to try and obtain an operation for my back. Sadly I was refused by the consultant there and feel that this banished me to a lifetime of pain. However, knowing that Johnathon was there was always a great comfort to me. I shall never feel wholly happy being treated by anyone else during my crises time with my lower back. I pray I shall sometime meet him again. I hope he has found peace. I did not know he was ill at all and am shocked and devastated by the news. My Oesteopath, my mentor, a fellow christian and a friend all in one. Thankyou Johnathon for just being you. GodBless you and my love and thoughts go out to your wife and children. I hope to one day see him again where we both shall have no pain to suffer. Amen xx

Truly shocked and saddened
It was with great shock that I heard today of Jonathan Betser's passing. I worked with Jonathan and the Osteopathic Sports Care Association closely in the early days of founding the sportEX journals and he never failed to inspire me. He was one of the most dynamic people I've ever known, I never knew how he managed to get so much done! My thoughts go to his family. What a tragic end to such a young and gifted man. If there is any consolation, it must be that in his 46 years, he achieved more than many ever will.

My deepest sympathy
Dear Lizzie
My heart goes out to you and your family at this very sad time. You will need all the love of your family to get through the coming days but get through you will - believe me. Just hang on to all the happy and loving memories that you have shared with Jonathan and your children. Your children in particular will need you so much now - and always.
With my deepest sympathy and love
