I met Dave at Sheetz back in early 2013. I was going thru chemo and would stop on my way to treatments for water and snacks. I was bald, pale and tired. He was always so kind. One day he said to me, "have a nice day, no matter what". I said thank you and as I walked away I thought that was a strange way of saying it, but then the reality of what he said hit me. And frankly it changed everything for me. That day, while receiving treatment I texted all my closest friends and family and told them about that encounter. One friend even stopped in sheetz and asked for Dave so she could thank him for 3 words that changed my whole outlook - on life, not just that period of my life. Dave and I became friendly until he started traveling to other locations and I only saw him periodically and then not at all anymore. But the kindness of that gentle man changed my life and I´m glad we had the opportunity to let him know it too. And, I made it thru that difficult time. What a loss to anyone who had an opportunity to cross paths with Dave Morris. I will remember him fondly all of my days. My sincerest sympathy to his family and friends. I truly am so very sorry for your loss.

Cousin Bill - as we called him - was a tremendous guy, always smiling and making everyone around him happier. We didn't see each other often, but when we did it was always a wonderful time. He did so much for youth sports in the area and will long be remembered and missed. Rest in peace, Cuz.

My sincerest condolences to the Morris family. Dave was a remarkable man full of life and positivity. His presence would instantly brighten any room, and his infectious smile, along with his well-known phrase, "Have a good day, no matter what," would bring joy to all who encountered him. His light will undoubtedly be deeply missed. Until we meet again.
