MILLS Iris Joy In loving memory of a truly remarkable woman, Iris Joy Mills who peacefully passed away on 19th February 2026 at Beaumond House, the very hospice where she was one of the founder members. Joy was born in Barnsley and lived in Newark for the past 40 years. She was known for her kindness and warmth, beloved by all who knew her. A cherished wife to Ken Mills, former cherished wife of Maurice Cable, a loving mother to John, and a treasured stepmother to Steve. Her legacy lives on in her family and grandchildren Chelsea, David, Shelly, Jason, Simon, Jamie and Max. Her kindness and service to her family, friends and others will never be forgotten. The celebration of her will be at St Giles Church, Balderton at 1pm on 12th March.
