Peter LEA

LEA Peter Passed away at Belvoir Vale Care Home on October 26th 2025, at the age of 86 years. Peter was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and was the dear son of the late Stanley and Lucie Lea of Southwell. Peter was a passionate admirer of trains throughout his life, both real and models. He was also an avid gardener who was very proud of his country yard. He is predeceased by his older sister Nancy Lea, his younger sister Gillian Blakey and his brother-in-law Peter. Peter is survived by his two nephews Mark Blakey (Joanne), Rick Blakey (Sherri), his niece Heather Blakey Nesbitt (Drew) and their children. As per his wishes, Peter be laid to rest with his late parents in Southwell and no service will take place. If desired, memorial contributions may be sent directly to The Friends of the National Railway Museum and would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
