Alan Darrington Obituary
DARRINGTON, Alan passed away on 2nd October, aged 84.
Alan was a beloved husband to his loving wife Sheila and a much loved Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad who will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him. A service will be held at St Mary's church, Greenham on Thursday 23rd October at 10am and afterwards at The Bowlers Arms, all welcome (no black please). Donations in Alan's memory are to Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Enquiries to Camp Hopson

Alan (Yorkie) was a wonderful caring man. I worked with Alan for 17 years at Royal Mail. Another great postie gone to the letterbox in the sky. God bless you Alan

Ah yorkie so many rounds of golf together so many laughs he was and always will be a true friend although I now live in poland we kept in regular contact i cannot imagine the pain shiela is suffering but as he always said to me ah she's plodding along well keep plodding along shiela it's what he would want i will end in his was when we spoke i,ll leave it with you for now till next time RIP m8
