Christopher WHITTAKER Obituary
WHITTAKER, Christopher Hugh Morton, died 19th June 2021 at Great Western Hospital having been taken unwell at home in the morning. Reunited with his first wife Susannah (d.2007). Leaves behind his second wife Rosy (m. 2019), sister Lis, sons Robin, Ashley and Dickon, and grandchildren Joe, Nathan, Jemma, Amelia, Ben and Ned. A member of the Newbury community his whole life. Rugby player, golfer, businessman, Rotarian and member of the congregation of Newtown Church. A lovely man who is already greatly missed. Funeral details tbc, enquiries to Howe & Son 01635 298303. A true GENTLEMAN. A pleasure to work for him at his Dealership in Swindon during the time of the Citroen XM. A really lovely man who will certainly be sadly missed by all that knew and respected him. RIP Chris.
