BODIN. Valerie 'Val' passed away suddenly after a short illness on 26th July 2016 aged 75 years. Now reunited with son Stuart. Val was a much loved mum, grandma, great grandma, sister, niece and a special friend to many. She had lived in the Newbury area for many years and was an active member of the Watermill Theatre, Corn Exchange and Newbury Art Group. She was an accomplished painter and flower arranger. Val will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends. Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the NHS staff at North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke who cared for Val so well, and the staff at St Michael's Hospice for looking after her in her final days. Funeral service to be held at West Berkshire Crematorium, Thatcham on Wednesday 17th August at 3.00pm. Flowers if desired c/o A B Walker or donations to St. Michael's Hospice, Basingstoke.
