Richard will be very sadly missed

17th March 2026 at St John the Baptist, Boughton, NN2 8SF at 1.30pm.

Casciati Cooper Chaplin were thrown together by force of alphabet in form 4e. Richard was a great pal, we were in athletics team, rugby team, the same ccf section, rugby tours abroad and skiing trips. Above all he was my daytime smoking associate for which I warmly remember him. Best wishes to the family rgrds Simon

Remembered fondly from school as a bit of a rebel with a spring in his step, a great sportsman with a great record collection. I´m very sorry to hear of his passing but am glad to remember the larger than life character I knew

So sorry to hear of your loss. Sadly not kept in touch over the years since the Hall 80-85. Had hoped to make contact with him and to meet up in 2027 as we were all approaching 60.
