Following a courageous battle with his illness, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of
Phillip Andrew Shortland (Phil) on Saturday 13th September 2025 at
Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.
Beloved husband to Julie.
Loving father to Matthew, Michelle and Michaela. Much-loved brother, uncle, grandad and godfather, friend to
many and loyal LFC fan.
Funeral service to be held at Peterborough Crematorium on Wednesday 8th October at 11 :30am. Mourners are invited to wear something red in tribute to
Phil's favourite team.
After the service family & friends
are invited to the Whittlesey Conservative Club for lunch and
a celebration of Phil's life.
Family flowers only please.
