I just wanted to say how lovely the service was on Tuesday and to offer my condolences. I slipped away from the reception without offering my condolences in person, not knowing any of Steve's family personally, so I hope I didn't appear rude. I missed the opportunity of speaking to Steve's mum, sadly - Steve and I were born in the same nursing home just five days apart, and I'm reasonably sure she knew my mum. In fact I think Steve may have come round to play at our house in Prinsted on a few occasions in the 60s. Many years ago now! Steve was a lovely man, and I'm very sorry for your loss.
