where she attended Oakwood High School for Girls. Died peacefully 29.11.24 at her home in Warkworth, Northumberland.
She moved from Rotherham to Nottingham where she met her husband Derek.
She was a caring mother to sons Derek
and David who she encouraged to make
the most of life's opportunities.
She supported her husband throughout his career and this involved moving home to Boston, Lincoln, Watford, Hathersage,
and lastly to Warkworth.
Susan was a talented and creative artist and used her talent in her painting, her home-making, her acting, and her costume-making. She was able and willing to express her views clearly and strongly. This was viewed by her family and friends as a positive and attractive strength.

Terry and I are very sorry to hear of Susan´s passing.My maiden name was Margaret Rimmington and I spent 5 Years in the same class as her at Oakwood.In addition we often went out together socially and on one occasion she introduced me to my husband Terry.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this very sad time.
