Jenny HARRIS

HARRIS Jenny Died peacefully after a sudden illness on 13 October 2025, aged 78 years. Jenny was a dearly loved mother to Tim, grandmother to Roscoe and Theadora and sister to Mark, Richard and Til. She was a passionate champion of local nature and wildlife conservation and especially to bats. As a result, she had a broad network of wonderful friends and colleagues. Her funeral service will take place at Great Glen Crematorium on Friday 21 November at 12.30pm. It will be followed by a celebration of her life at her beloved Rutland Water (Egleton Reserve). The family will provide flowers. Jenny would have loved any donations to be made to either Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust or the Bat Conservation Trust.
