At Wishaw General Hospital, on November 21, 2025, after
a short illness, Abbie Finlayson (Marshall), beloved wife of the late
Jim, dearly loved mum of Shona,
James and Hazel, mother-in-law to Tracy and Gordon, adored and proud granny to Abbie, Criosaidh and Jamie. Devoted sister, aunty, great and
great-great-aunty and friend to many.
In her final act of a life marked by kindness, generosity and the promotion of education, she donated her body to science.
A family celebration of a life lived selflessly will be held privately.
