Very Rev. Dr. Alan Douglas

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on September 29, 2025, Very Rev. Dr. Alan Douglas McDonald, aged 74 years. Much loved husband of Judith, dearly loved dad of Neil and Ali, father-in-law of Lena and Dave and a devoted papa of Maisie, Isla, Hari and Lara.
The cremation service will be held at Falkirk Crematorium, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10.45 am, to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to a service of Thanksgiving within St. Michael's Parish Church, Linlithgow at 12.15 pm.
The family have asked that those attending should dress as they feel comfortable. Family flowers only, please. A retiral collection, to benefit Alzheimer Scotland, will be held in Alan's memory.
