Peacefully, on Monday, January 26, 2026, at East Lothian Community Hospital. Deeply loved husband of Mute, proud dad to Antonia, Tom, Bea and Danny, brother to Albert and papa/grandpa to Ava, Carys, Ella and Harry.
A celebration of Sandy's life will be held in the Main Chapel at Mortonhall Crematorium, Edinburgh, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10 am. Black attire is not required. Whilst not expected, donations will be collected or can be made online to the Lewy Body Society (www.lewybody.org/donation).

Dear Tom And Antonia, I just heard the very sad news about Sandy. A very special man and the world is a poorer place without him. I have very fond memories of your dad.
