To Sandys family
I had lost touch with Sandy many years ago having been very good friends at University in 1979 to 1981 and had the pleasure of spending time with him and his family in Dingwall and Gairloch, most memorably fishing. I was shocked to belatedly hear about his passing and wish all the family my best wishes. I am sure this is the Sandy I knew so many years ago.

Sandy Macrae
I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. I have such wonderful memories of him always laughing and quick with a joke. It was always a treat to visit with him and his family although those visits were few and far between.
My last visit with Sandy was about six years ago with my then soon to be husband. We were visiting Endinburgh for the weekend and Sandy and Cathy invited us for lunch. I still remember we shared tacos, laughs and very warm hospitality!
My heart and thoughts are with all the Macrae family!

My deepest sympathy to the Macrae family
We have not met, but I knew Sandy's parents and visited them several times in Gairloch. I am a cousin of Johnnie Henderson. My father, Ken Harris, was Johnnie's stepmother's (Eileen) brother. Joan and I spent many happy hours researching and discussing Harris family history.
Your family has had a tough few years -- I send heaps of sympathy and affection, and I hope peace and comfort will come to you all soon.
Fondly,

In Loving Memory of Your Sandy
Dearest Macrae Cousins -
Our family was so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Sandy - He had many years ahead that should have been able to have been shared with you all -
You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time - Diabetes is a challenge in our family as well (on Floyd's side) as Graeme and his sons, Michael, Matthew and Christopher have all been living with it since their early teens -
We therefore support their research fundraising, and Cara has walked in several marathons - to raise funds and especially awareness -
We pray that your memories of the good times that you all have shared will sustain you through the tough times ahead -
With love from Barbara Ann (Anne Dowling) - on behalf of the James Marston (Slush) Harris family xo xo xo XO
