Alexander Douglas, BEM

Douglas died peacefully, on December 20, 2024, in the dedicated care of the Western General Hospital, after a long debilitating illness borne with fortitude. Beloved husband and best friend of Irene, proud stepfather of Ali, Lisa, David and wife Clare. Grumps to Izzy, Lottie and George and brother of Iain and wife Dorothy. Late of SASA. Keen skier, golfer, curler and dedicated dog owner.
Service at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 12 noon. Family flowers only, but donations gratefully received to the Therapet charity to which he gave so much time.

So sorry. Douglas will be missed by everyone. I had Golden retriever called Kyle and worked many times with Douglas.

Very sad to hear the news about Douglas. He was a lovely 'Uncle' myself and Jennifer when were were growing up and was a good friend to John and Ursula.
