LUND Alice Ruth (Edinburgh) Peacefully, at her daughter's home, in the foothills of the Lammermuirs, on August 26, 2012, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Frank, loving mother of Sarah and Karen and mother-in-law of David, proud and loving grandmother of James, Andrew and Sam, fond sister-in-law of George and aunt of Jane, Charles, Ruthy and Peter, beloved friend to many. Ruth will be sadly missed by all. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium Pentland Chapel, on Saturday, September 1, at 11.30 am. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu may be made to Marie Curie Cancer Care or similar charity. Friends and family may wear whatever they feel comfortable in.
